The Reds Community Fund is dedicated to improving the lives of youth through its baseball-themed outreach efforts. Programs include the Reds Rookie Success League, a free, coed, character-building program for 6-12 year olds in Greater Cincinnati, Butler County, Clermont County, Louisville and Dayton; Youth Baseball and Softball Funding, which underwrites expenses for more than 700 inner-city teams throughout Reds Country; and Field Renovation, which has helped restore over 350 baseball and softball fields.  Including the P&G Cincinnati MLB Urban Youth Academy, Youth Baseball “Match” and Greater Cincinnati RBI programs, more than 45,000 kids and coaches will be connected in 2014.

Dating back to 2005, CBTS has hosted the “Marty Brennaman Golf Classic” benefitting the Reds Community Fund.  The two-day event serves as one of the largest and most significant annual fundraisers and awareness-raisers for the Community Fund and has generated more than one-million dollars in charitable revenue.  CBTS is also supporting the construction of the P&G Cincinnati MLB Urban Youth Academy in the Roselawn/Bond Hill neighborhood.  Upon completion, the complex – featuring four championship fields and a 34,000 square foot indoor training and education center – will represent one of the largest community investments by a professional sports team in sports history.  Already, the program serves more than 5,000 urban and at-risk boys and girls.  CBTS has been a generous supplier and partner in bringing the complex to life with a formal ribbon-cutting scheduled for August 22-23, 2014.
